Story Summary Page 1:
Sakura is a grade four elementary student who has magic. Why? Because one day, when she's wandering in her father's library (some say that it was a basement, some say it was an attic, but who knows), she found this book old book that was labeled "The Clow". She opened it and a little bear stuffed animal came out of the book, and started talking to her about all the cards in the book are gone and how she is going to be the one who will be capturing them or else they'll go around and make trouble. She started to capture cards, no one knows about it except her best friend: Tomoyo (Madison). When she knew what her best friend was doing, she started to make whole bunches of costumes for her to wear while she's capturing the cards. As if that wasn't bad enough, she taped Sakura every single capture in her V8 recorder!! Sakura has a brother name Touya, and his best friend, Yukito (Julian), which Sakura has a crush on. Her brother likes to tease her and call her ‘monster’, that's why Sakura always want to grow up nice and big to seek revenge. Compare to Yukito (Julian), Sakura only thinks that Touya is a jerk. As Sakura captures more cards, her rival(?) appears, and that is Syaoran (Li). He was partly related to the maker of the cards, so he wanted to take over Sakura's place and capture the cards himself. Not only that he was her rival for the Clow cards, he was also her rival for her love, Yukito (Julian). He blushes every time he sees Yukito (Julian). But as time passes, Syaoran (Li) couldn't resist Sakura's beauty and fell in love with her instead. When all cards were captured, a new character appeared- Eriol, he started to cause trouble. Is he a friend, or an enemy? And who is Nakuru (Ruby), the girl who's obsessed about Touya? Only time can tell…
