Other comics by Bane Kerac:
This is a list over some of the comics made by Bane Kerac since 1975. The information is partly gathered from enjoying his work, and some of it is kindly provided by mister Kerac himself. The same goes for the artwork.
The list is not complete, Bane Kerac has made a lot of short stories and it is a lot of work trying to get the full picture. If you have any information, please don't hesitate to mail me, you'll get credits if you want to.
Lieutenant Tara, 1975 - 1978, 22 episodes, ca. 220 pages. Lieutenant Tara is practically Lt. Bluebird fighting nazis instead of bandits in the wild west.
Kobra,1979 - 1989, 17 episodes, ca. 450 pages. An USA Road Movie style story about adventures of a young stuntman all over the World.
The Best Part of Kobra are the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th episodes:
- 14 The Hell Angel
- 15 The Desert Monster
- 16 The Goon
- 17 Arizona Heat
Billy the pljuc (Billy the spit and Billy the speed in some magazines), 1983 -1987, 44 pages & ca. 30 daily strips. ...an EastwoodLeoneHagarTheHorrible joke album.
Tarzan There are five five "Calonga Star" episodes which are Kobra adventure for real. Kobra (named Bob because of the copyrights, but the character is the same) and Mindy (twin Sister of Kobra's main female character Cindy Williams) are the stars, and Tarzan is there only for decoration.
Il grande blek macigno (The Big Blek -?) A Few episodes licenced from Italian publishing house. Ca 300 pages.
Ninja. Three or four episodes.
Dick Harlow is one of many one episode comics that Bane Kerac has done. This comic shows his respect for and knowledge of the detectives and stories in the hardboiled Phillip Marlowe tradition, it is so well done that it almost parody the genre. Dick Harlow has no home, no family and even fever illusions. His only human contact on a regular basis, is his secretary, which of course doesn't get paid, and a police man who is determined to see him shot sooner or later.
In Stormy & Iceberg by Sibin Slavkovic (who appears as a taxi driver in one Cat Claw scene with Extremity), Kerac is the story writer.
Others. Nearly 1500 pages of relatively short stories of all genres. There are no complete list.
Any additions to this list would be greatly appreciated!!! Please mail me at ivarman@hotmail.com.
