Deliverance

Chapter 13 from River of Memories: An Appalachian Boyhood, a memoir. This chapter gives the details of my tour of duty in Vietnam in 1965-66.

Although my book, River of Memories: An Appalachian Boyhood, is primarily about my 1940s-'50s West Virginia Appalachian boyhood, I'm certain Vietnam veterans and others would enjoy the final chapter, "Deliverance", which tells about my tour of duty in Di An, Vietnam (1965-66) with the 1st Infantry Division (The Big Red One). If you wish to read "Deliverance", then click on the following:

THIS PAGE CONTAINS SEVERAL SHORT STORIES, MAKE CERTAIN TO SELECT CHAPTER 13  DELIVERANCE IN PANEL ON LEFT SIDE OF PAGE.

THANK YOU

Once you have read "Deliverance", I do hope you will write your thoughts in my guestbook:

Thank you.

Sincerely,

David Lee Thompson, Author
