A house and lawn; Actual size=240 pixels wide

This panoramic view shows the vacant lot next to 62 Chestnut Street during the fall of 2001.

We sold this to finance the final restoration work and put it on the market on 1-11-02 at 4:00 p.m. Amazingly, after a short bidding war ensued, we sold it at noon time the next morning.

Yes, that is only twenty (20) hours on the market!

TR from the side of the house

Here's a view looking ENE. Note the different roof lines. The house actually has nine different rooflines and added to the complexity in redoing the roof.

roof under construction 1

Here's a view of the roof being rebuilt. Interestingly, our contractors found that in some areas, there were four (4) layers of old roofing material still in place.

There were also three (3) leaks, including one over the garage that had a hole so large, a basketball could pass through it.

The finished material is an architectural grade roofing that highlights the different textures.
