Life as a kitten has lots of adventure in it, well suited to feline curiosity. I make the most of my curiosity by exploring
every accessible part of my home, even some of the inaccessible parts when I manage to evade human supervision.
I've discovered that by using my claws, I can climb to the top of the curious things that hang in front of the glass things
my owners call windows. I can get a great view of everything from the top, but I still can't reach the small prey with 8
legs that live high in the corners. Then when I tire of that I can cry piteously so that a human will pull up a chair and
stand on it to lift me down. I could get down by myself, but it's no fun.
I'll never forget the day I got up to the top of the tree in the garden, and they had to get out what seemed like the
whole fire brigade to rescue me. Unfortunately I blew it one day when I was too hungry to wait for them to get me down, so
dramatic rescues are a thing of the past.
Oh well, time for bed! I'll join my humans up there... oh look, the doona has slipped and I can see something white and
round, with a crack dividing its 2 halves. Now, I might just have a go at climbing this smooth mountain.
Claws, do your stuff!
