Above...The bottom layer
of a new painting in progress. The good old Yamato ( now self
lit for deep space travel ) Add to this, gun flash from turret #2. It's
also a big canvas...18 X 24. The largest I've done in a long time!
As for detail...check out the hatch covers on the first gundeck, or
the red light reflecting from the turret directory!
Above, the sad End
of "Sandor's Ring"... ( color was applied to the turrets, and got ugly...Orange
to blue add gray ) So, now the drawing, a month long endevore...will end up
gathering dust in the never to be finnished pile. ( Sometimes, art
stinks...:) Oh well, Back to the Drawingboard.
Above, A few scans, and an
overall view of the new Drawing, "Sandor's Ring"...A beautiful "WHAT MIGHT
HAVE BEEN" DRAWING...Too bad the color got so @###%**+%#@ ( messed )
up! The drawing itself is wonderful, and some pictures were taken
of the black and white. Maybe something good will come of
it, yet.
