Every now and then I may have some older dachsies that I am retiring
from my show/breeding program and wanting to place in a forever home where they will be spoiled rotten with lots of undivided
attention. These older dogs can make great pets and deserve a change of pace for their retirement just like you and I. I also
have pups that I have been running on for the show ring and then after a while as they develop I sometimes decide that they
were not quite what I was hoping for in my program.

These dogs make great family pets too. "Remember
that just because a dog is older does not mean it does not need to be potty trained all over when it goes into its new home."
Crate training is essential just as if it were a new pup. The nice part is that being older they generally learn a little
faster however consistancy is the key.

These older dogs do not have free run in my house and are only inside
running about under close supervision so that when they have to go potty, accidents can be avoided. Please email
