When
we first meet Brad, he's just chillin, having
a smoke. When out of the blue Serra drops down
right on the plank he was standing on. Startled
by the girl he accidentally swallows the smoke
he was having. Now startled and scared from the
smoke he rushes off leaving Serra to meet her
demise on the pavement below. Not to worry, Koj
swings by with a last minute save, where as Brad
is no where to be seen.
Next
time we see Brad he's chasing off Frogsoliders
who were waiting for the trio of heroes to retreat
back into Torrent (issue #5). When he goes over
to talk to Serra, the now four (Serra and Jarek
joined with Rikk and Hawke) heroes are all surrounding
Koj, who was struck down in battle.
"Whoa.
Dude -- that does not look good...!" He says,
getting a look at Jarek's eye that he lost in
battle with D'Nikay, "--not that I'm like
an expert or anything!" This is one of my
favorite lines, seeing how it pretty much defines
the kind of man (or dragon rather) Brad is: a
laid back, kind, and cool dragon.
