Even though really difficult to excel at such a large field,  the Topaz is a car that is good in everything. It  was manufactured by the Mercury division of Ford from 1984 to 1994 as a slightly up-scale version of the Ford Tempo, even though both cars shared most parts. The biggest differences were the roof a bit more formal and rounded in the Topaz and the front fashia - the Topaz featured a wrap-around light vs. a grill on the Tempo. There were various interesting options in the Topaz including an all wheel drive version. It was powered by various versions of 4 cyl engines including the 2.3 and even a 3.0 6 cyl engine.
