Mom as a Baby

Probably 1907

Mother was born, Georgia Delilah(Fae)Johnson, in Texas. She was the oldest of eight children. She married James Henry Alexander and had seven children. The first two girls, Erma and Betty died at birth. The other five, Thomas, Ramona, Eva, Joan and James were born in various states.All but Joan are still alive. Joan has gone to be with God. Mom and Dad later divorced and Mom married Vernon Bue. He died around 1954 at 51 years of age.Mom went to be with God in 1998 at age 91.

My Dad was born James Andrew Alexander at Conway, Arkansas, in 1889. He was the oldest child and had several brothers and sisters. He married my Mother about 1923 and they had children and lived together for many years then divorced. Dad had been married before and had other children, including his daughters, Lit and Hodie. Dad married another woman named Helen and lived with her in Texas until he went to be with God in 1971.

Lyle and Dorothy White

This is a picture of Donnas' Mother and Dad, Lyle and Dorothy White. Both were born in Nebraska. Lyle retired from a job as a printer in Fremont and he and Dorothy moved to Turlock. They had four children, Donna, Lyle(Sonny)Jr, Janice and Richard.

Donnas' Dad died of a heart attack in 1981 at age 69 in their home in Turlock. Dorothy died of the infirmities of old age at age 85. She was in a nursing home in Chico and being cared for by her daughter, Donna.

Below is my Great,great,Grandpa on my Grandmother Johnsons side. She was a Brummet and he is her maternal Grandfather. This is the only picture of him I have seen.
