Categorising the London Farthings of Edward I

The later farthing types of Edward I used a new reverse legend: CIVITAS LONDON (the City of London). A number of distinct obverse legends can be used to subcategorise coins from this period:

• ERAN GLIE
• ERAN GLDN (can be mis-spelt ERAN GLAN)
• EDWARDVS REX (can be mis-spelt or have added letters at the end)
