Biron Solid in Season Opener........

Sabres Poll

After ousting the Isles 5-1 in their season debut the Sabres are preparing to battle the well respected Montreal Canadiens tonight(OCT 12th). Taylor Pyatt has yet to be suspended after he speared D Ray Schultz on Thursday.

Biron played solid and could finally emerge as a proven starter this season. This could very well be the year of the "Marty's" if Biron, Turco and Brodeur have respectable seasons. The loss of Schmelik went un-noticed as the Sabres only surrendered a single goal.

Even though they have looked impressive so far, there hands will be full when the Canadies play them tonight.
