Is This Now or Never for the Flames ?

Flames Poll

The Flames have missed the playoffs for a long period of time which brings us to this question, is it now or never for the Flames ? This could very possibly be the case. This year will mark if the Flames raise through the standings or fall out of the league. The addition of LW Martin Gelinas will turn out to be a key move as Gelinas will bring excellent leadership and average scoring skills.

It was rumoured D Derek Morris was on the trading block throughout June and July but since talks of possible trades have dissapeared. Roman Turek should return to his St. Louis fashion with added scoring help and more mature defenseman. Brent Krahn could come and play a couple of games if Mike Vernon does not return but Krahn should play valuable time with the Saint John Flames.
