The 2500 series over the past year has received much acclaim by lots of UK fishermen. It was nicely designed by Zziplex for general fishing.The 2500PTX being a replacement of the original 2500LM were built on better and lighter material. It was voted as the Best Sea Rod in 1995 Emap vote. Till quite recenly, Zziplex begin to research on a rod to replace the 2500PTX. After much research with even better taper and materials, the 3500PTX was born. Action of the 2500 and the 3500 is about the same but I think the 3500PTX is easier to transport. It has a equal length butt and tip section. The 2500PTX has a 8 feet tip and a 5 feet butt section, quite cumbersome if you do not have your own fishing transport. The 3500PTX is available in Singapore as a blank. You need to built it from scratch either by yourself or by a custom rod builder. Choosing quality materials for it, both rods would serve you well for your fishing needs for a long time. Buy one for your fishing at our local East Coast or Changi beaches. Use a 5oz sinker and a 6500 reel and no fish will be out of reach. A really user-friendly rod by the Zziplex company.

3500S
This rod is the latest addition to the Zziplex family. Developed from the 3500PTX, this latter has a stiffer butt and tip section. Suitable for rougher ground and light tournament casting. Blank is maroon red in colour and is slightly longer than the PTX. Buy this for fishing at our Changi and Pasir Ris beach and it will serve you well.

The 4500HPM is developed from the ever popular Fzero series which is already discontinued. A new rod was being designed to provide angler with a superb fishing and match quality like the Fzero. The new rod which Zziplex name as 4500HPM was eventually formed. At 13feet overall length, it is best cast at low reel mounting and suits the Pendulum casting well. However it would still serve the OTG cast style as well. The 4500HPM is a match tool with a fine sensitive tip to pick-up those shy bites at long range. Best suits our venues like the cleanish beach portion of Changi and Pasir Ris. Buy one if you wish to have a rod that cast and fish sweetly .
