This is where their cruel conspiracies and rogue dealings are stored,
Under lock and key in the Access Act locker room ignored,
Where bureaucrats stand guard with big books of regulations,
Line after line of mindless malicious careful complications.
Details of how Liberals lied and sprinkled cash here and there,
Bought the vote with envelopes while the public was unaware,
“Ethics,” and “Transparency,” were words they frequently used,
Canadians still don’t realize how often we’ve been abused.
The Adscam inquiry revealed some of these awful facts,
How and what our politicians were doing behind our backs,
The slush funds of the Adscam guys disappeared in Quebec,
Government by backroom conspiracies for the lower deck.
Politicians do not act; they react and pretend they care,
To problems or events that might occur here and there,
But show no leadership as they manipulate and scheme,
Then make a pompous announcement as they smile and they beam.
Provinces are mere play things unless we’re talking Quebec,
Ottawa politicians
like it this way if you check
Ontario and
Alberta pay their equalization ransom,
Alimony payments in the billions so they look handsome.
