The Aldrich Middle School Builders club has been placed on the inactive list due to the inability to find a faculty advisor for the club. Sue Darin, the faculty advisor for the last several years, was present aat the Beloit Stateline Golden K club's March 9, 2004 meeting to present the balance of the club's revenue to the Golden K club which will be used to further their IDD contributions. She also presented a Hixon to Bob Granger, the Kiwanis Advisor to the Builders Club, for his faithful contributions to the club.

TERRIFIC KIDS!!!

The Terrific Kids program provides a way for Kiwanis members to reward students who strive to improve behavior, peer relationships, attendance, or school work. Five factors make Terrific Kids a successful program:

1) The goals are achievable, 2) Students receive recognition, 4) It's popular in the community, 5) The Kiwanis club's support is minimal.

Recipients receive certificates, buttons, bumper stickers and special pencils in recognition of their efforts.
