Newest Woodcarvings Posted in April 2005

This is my first horse with rider and it is a wild one at that. It measures: base 3 1/2"x7 1/4" The horse from head to ears is 8 1/2" base to back 5". The cowboy measures from head to boots 4 1/2" and arm to arm 4 1/2. This is also my first painted carving."

This rearing horse, with carved mane and tail, is mounted oval type base and has a small state of Kentucky mounted to the left. Known as the Bluegrass State, Kentucky is also called horse country.

This little jumper clears the fence and is freedom bound!.

This is a little rearer too, it's a tiny pegasus and its mane and tail are carved. It's dimensions are 5 1/4" X 5". The natural dark areas in the wood stand out and add interest to the horse.
