Documents Documents will include mailings to members informing them of matters of importance (one mailing in 20 years), the short one paragraph announcement by the Trustee Robert Bloch that the council was put into trusteeship without his explaining the compelling reasons for the trusteeship. If you would like to view/retrieve/search all documents that were presented in the Chicago District Council trusteeship proceedings as well as all matters/documents in LIUNA's docket please let Laborers for JUSTICE know. and contribute to the cause. LIUNA charges me $.07 a page to provide paper copies (they refuse to provide electronic copies) yet have the "balls" to say any member can review matters in the docket. What member in his right mind would fly into Washington, D.C. from Hawaii or Alaska (much less Chicago) to review documents in the docket. A right that can not be easily exercised is an "empty" right. |
