Drew Kirk has one major character
flaw... the recently married Ramsay Street hunk is just too nice for his own
good! In the past few weeks, Drew has thrown himself into his work at the garage
while his wife Libby is overseas. In the process, he's fallen prey to
Erinsborough newcomer Veronica Anderson, a lonely woman with a recurring car
problem.
This
week, Veronica steps up her campaign to win his heart, which comes as a total
surprise to Drew! "Veronica believes that she's meant to be with
Drew," Monika reveals. "She does a lot of devious things just so she
has an excuse to see him. She even cooks him dinner and visits him at home,
which makes others suspect something is going on. But Drew is such a nice guy,
he doesn't even realize it."
However, he sure does when Veronica
goes to the garage to pick up her repaired car. "They're in the front seat
of the car and Veronica puts her hand on his lap and says it's wonderful that
they've found each other and are in love," Monika reveals. "She
believes Drew feels the same way, but it's news to him!"
Drew tells Veronica that she has her
wires crossed, but she won't take no for an answer. "Veronica becomes more
determined and manic, and even starts making threats." Monika says.
"There's more to her then meets the eye."
