Dame Margaret calls an ambulance and gives her an interview while they wait. Libby's pregnancy is on a knife's edge but she managers to talk her way out of hospital. Drew is very worried for her. The article wins her a nomination for the best feature award- and a job offer from a major city paper. But when the Chronicle Editor learns Libby is expecting, the job goes to someone else.

Libby's Baby and other spoilers

Libby won't accept the specialist's advice that she shouldn't go through with the pregnancy. Drew, Karl and Susan are anxious but Libby won't slow down. Drew is worried  that Libby's overdoing things- is she jeopardizing her pregnancy? Libby is determined to get an interview with Dame Margaret Woolstead, who's in town. When Drew is summoned to service her limousine Libby convinces Drew to let her come along disguised as a mechanic. Libby only scores her interview with Dame Margaret who felt sorry for her when she doubles over in pain, suffering acute abdominal pains- is her pregnancy in danger? Libby is allowed to publish the article, but at what cost?

And the Baby makes THREE!

On her return, she tells her worried family that she is going through with the pregnancy, no matter the consequence. But will Libby pay the ultimate sacrifice in 8 months time?

Difficult Decisions

While Drew and Libby have their first fight, their problems may have only just begun- Libby thinks she might be pregnant! They have their first official fight and Libby reveals she may be pregnant. Is Drew about to finally become a dad?

A Pregnant Pause

The cries of a baby could soon be heard in Ramsay Street. In the June 18 episode of much-loved soap Neighbours, Libby (played by Kym Valentine) announces she is pregnant. Best Aussie Actor: Dan Paris

Australian smash hit Neighbours celebrated 15 triumphant years on air this year. Reveling in the show's success is our winner in the Best Aussie Actor category, Dan Paris, who plays sexy mechanic Drew Kirk. "I was quite shocked and flattered when I found out I'd won this award." Dan says. "Actually, when our publicist first told me I'd won something, I was expecting it to be for the world's worst hair cur or something like that! So, when I found out it was an award for acting, I was pleasantly surprised! It's a great honour, thank you." Boasting compelling storylines that have thrown his talents and good looks to the forefront of the show, Dan's character has been caught in a love triangle between beautiful Libby Kennedy (Kym Valentine) and Steph Scully (Carla Bonner). And this year's scenes also included a raunchy take off of The Fully Monty as well as stunt work in the gripping Ramsay Street fire! Congratulations Dan!

News on Kym and dan

Neighbours' Kym Valentine (Libby) is one of soap's friendliest stars, but during a flight from Melbourne to Sydney recently, her patience was sorely tested. First, Kym's business class seat was unavailable, so she was forced to sit among a rowdy group of school kids. She then witnessed a flight attendant drop a try of food- only to pick it up from the floor and proceed to serve it! When Kym expressed her disgust, the hostess took offence and a screaming match erupted. Kym left the light vowing never to fly that airline again.

Talking of Kym, after much deliberation both she and co- star Dan Paris (Drew) have renewed their contracts until the end of 2001. So there will be plenty of time for Drew and Libby to get back together and hopefully give us that wedding we are all hanging out for.

Getting Libby out of his mind

Drew is becoming increasingly withdrawn from everyone and everything. He throws himself into work to try and forget about Libby but his mind is still elsewhere. When Karl drops off his car for a service, Drew accidentally leaves the garage unlocked overnight and Karl's car is stolen. Unknown to Drew, Libby's computer was also in the car and is now missing. He feels incredibly guilty about the whole incident and gives Susan some money to buy Libby a new computer, but she refuses to take it.

Steph is still in love with Drew and is trying hard to keep her distance while he is going through such turmoil. When her new boss gives her a very punishing schedule in the hope of forcing her out of her job, Steph realizes she needs someone to confide in and nearly tells Drew exactly how she feels about him.

When Toadie learns the truth about Steph's feelings for Drew, he asks Libby what she is planning to do about her former fiancé. Libby tells Steph and Toadie she is no longer in love with Drew and although she is lying the comment gives Steph some hope that her feelings for Drew might yet be returned. So when Drew asks her to come away with him for a few days she is sure it could be the start of something big!!

When Steph hears from Toadie that Libby has said to him (Toadie) that there is absolutely no chance of her and Drew getting bake together, Steph begins to think that maybe she does have a chance with Drew after all.
