Ramsay Street's Romeo Drew believes he's found his Juliet

He would be the perfect partner. Loyal, kind, fun, a caring friend and so handsome he makes the women who watch Neighbours swoon. And when Drew Kirk falls in love, he dives deep!

She is lonely and looking for someone special- so why is Libby Kennedy angry at Drew, her closet Romeo? That is one question which not even Kym can answer! "Libby is very harsh at times," she says. "I don't know what's wrong with her. She needs a good talking to, because Drew is a really nice guy. When you get down to it, she is scared to have another relationship, Everyone she's had has been just horrible."

While Neighbours viewers may have become increasingly aware of the mounting sexual tension between these former best buddies, Drew's heartfelt confession, blurted out during a heated argument, shocks Libby to the core. "He comes out with s few insults and then turns around and says, 'I love you'. She is very surprised by it," Kym says. "Drew is her best friend. He is like her brother, so it's such a shock."

Anyone who knows the history of Libby's tumultuous love- life would assume she would leap at the chance to find solace in Drew's strong arms, especially after the emotional battering she received from former lover Mike. "Libby has had so many disastrous relationship," Kym says. "She is over men, and doesn't feel Drew would be attracted to her. Her self- confidence is very low"

After taking a moment to digest Drew's startling news, Libby sees red. She accuses Drew of destroying what was once between them and storms from the house, leaving his heart and their friendship in tatters. "Libby is sort of angry, but also disappointed," Kym says. "She thought Drew was like a brother to her and, as usual, she blows it all out of proportion. They don't talk for a while and things are tense between them. It's that horrible situation where love and sex gets in the way of good friendship."
