May 7th - 12th, 2001

Drew has just fixed Ronnie's car and is sitting in the driver's seat. Ronnie comes to sit next to him. She gets straight to the point and tells Drew to stop pretending that nothing is going on. Drew has no idea what Ronnie is talking about. Ronnie thinks Drew is keeping up a charade and she puts her hands on Drew's lap. She tells him that she knows he feels guilty about Libby and that she believe he loved her when he married her. Drew asks what makes her think he doesn't love Libby. Ronnie ignores the question and asks Drew what they are going to do now that they've fallen in love? Drew is shocked at this revelation. He tells Ronnie that she's a friend of a friend and a customer, nothing more. Ronnie refuses to believe that and asks him what about the romantic dinner at his flat. Drew never thought it was romantic, just friendly. He apologizes if he's given her the wrong idea, but he loves Libby. Ronnie argues that Libby has left him. Drew tells her that she's gone away for a wedding and she's coming up. He told her that before. Ronnie becomes distressed and frustrated over this and doesn't want to talk about it. She takes the driver's seat and leaves.

At the airport, Libby is talking to Drew on a pay phone. She can't wait to see him and neither can Drew wait to see her. Drew suggests to pick her up when her flight arrives. Libby tells him not to worry because her dad can drop her off at the garage. Karl begins to complain that, that's what he'd want to do after a 23hr flight. Susan tells Drew not to listen to him since he slept all the way. Libby begin to tell Drew about how much bickering went on between her parents about the wedding gifts but then soon, has to go because they're calling their flight. She tells him she'll see him in a few hours.

Drew is at the garage working on the car when Ronnie comes up from behind and puts her hands over his eyes to surprise him. Drew thinking it's Libby tells her that he misses her. He turns around and picks her up into a hug. Just at that moment, Karl, Libby and Susan arrive at the garage to witness Drew hugging Ronnie. Drew lets go of Ronnie and walks straight towards Libby telling her that he knows how it must look but there's nothing going on- he barely knows her. Ronnie argues that's not true- they've had their long talks, cozy dinners at his place etc. Karl and Susan butts in and tells Ronnie to leave. She has no problems with that and leaves. They watch her leave and turn to Drew for an answer. Drew tells Libby that she's Tess' housemate and a customer. He also tells Libby that she has an obsessed crush on him.

At the flat, Drew is sitting at the dining table waiting for Libby who comes out of the bedroom. It seems as though Libby doesn't want to talk about Ronnie but Drew pushes it and tells Libby that she has to believe him when he says there's nothing going on. Libby walks to sit at the dining table and Drew follows. She tells him that Ronnie made a pretty convincing case, especially saying that she had spent time here in their "marital home" with Drew. Drew tells her that it was one dinner and he didn't even invite her. He also tells her that he doesn't usually pick up on these sort of things but once he realized, he told Ronnie that his married and loves his wife, but she wouldn't listen. Libby begins to pretend to be sympathetic to Drew and patronizes him (in a way). Drew doesn't pick this up but then soon realized Libby was stringing him along the whole time. She totally believed him. Drew tells him that she takes after her mother. Libby laughs and says not only does he have a fling while she's away, now he's insulting his mother-in-law. They laugh and Drew welcomes her home.

Later, Libby and Drew are in bed and Drew asks Libby how the wedding was. She tells him that it wasn't half as beautiful as theirs, but Mal and Cath are happy. She tells him how it's weird she's not tired yet but that she's starving. Drew gets out of bed to have a look what's in the fridge. Libby follows and goes to sit on the couch. Drew begins to tell Libby what's in the fridge and suggests to have pasta, pizza etc. While Libby is looking at the TV guide, she sees a earring on the couch and asks Drew who it belongs to because it's not hers. Drew doesn't know either and suggests it could be Steph, Nigel, Toadie, Darcy... and then comes to the conclusion that it might be Dione or Ronnie's. Libby asks why Ronnie would take her earring off for dinner. Drew tells her he doesn't know. He was just trying to work out why Ronnie was at their place in the first place. Libby looks uncertain. Drew assures her that they talked about her the whole night and he showed her the wedding photos. Libby tells Drew that she knows, she's just giving him a hard time. Drew comes to sit next to Libby. She tells him that maybe she's getting a little rattled by Ronnie. Drew tells Libby there's no need to be. Libby squeezes Drew's cheeks together and tells him that he's a very lucky man and should be grateful, a lesser woman would have scratched her eyes out by know. Drew tells her that he is grateful and Libby kisses him.

That night, Libby comes out of the bedroom, a little peeved, with a lipstick asking Drew who's it is? She tells him she can't see any of her friends leaving it behind at the back of the bathroom cabinet. She asks if it's Ronnie's and tells Drew not to lie. Drew tells her that he doesn't know. Libby begins to calm down and suggests that probably Ronnie planted there. Drew tells Libby that he doesn't get it because on the night he though it was a bit weird she came over with dinner but she never tried anything on, he just thought she was being friendly. Drew asks Libby if she believed for one minute that he and Ronnie... Libby tells him no, but she believes that Ronnie is a psycho. Drew tells Libby that he should have seen it coming. Libby agrees but then tells him if he did, he wouldn't be the man she loves because he's so trusting and sees the best in people. Drew begins to tell Libby how he felt like a kid waiting for Christmas for the past few days, waiting for her to come back. Libby tells him she felt that way too and she never thought 747 would go so slowly, she nearly offered to go out and push. Drew tells Libby that he had a few mates over, it wasn't as though he was lonely, but he just wanted to be with her.

The next morning, Drew is about to go to while Libby has breakfast. She's still jet-lagged. Susan knocks on the door and Drew lets her in but leaves for work. Libby tells her mother that something weird is going on. Susan sits down with Libby wanting to hear all the details. Libby tells her that Ronnie is obsessed with Drew. She continues to say that Drew is really gullible, he didn't realize what she was after. Ronnie even showed up with dinner uninvited and he lets her in. She tells Susan that she keeps finding stuff of hers everywhere- she planted there. Susan asks Libby if she's certain that Ronnie deliberating put her things at the flat. Libby tells her mother that it made her feel physically ill that she actually doubted Drew for a minute- he didn't do anything. Susan agrees and says that he wouldn't. Libby tells her mother that she shouldn't have ever gone away because it might look as though she's taking him for granted- she just realized that

Drew is working on a car when Ronnie comes to visit him. Drew asks her if her car's alright. Ronnie tells him that it is. Drew asks what he can do for her. Ronnie suggests to buy him a drink after work. Drew tells her that Libby is expecting him home for dinner. Ronnie begins to say how it must be hard for him to go back to her, just as it's hard for her to watch him leave. Drew argues and says that he loves her, she's his wife. Ronnie asks what about us? Drew tells her that there is no us. Ronnie asks why he's saying that and gets frustrated. Drew suggests to Ronnie that she needs help, she needs to talk to someone. Ronnie argues that he's the one that needs help and that he's living a lie. She then storms off.

That night, at the flat Libby has just told Tess about Ronnie. Tess finds it very strange because it doesn't seem as the Ronnie she lives with. But then she begins to say that Ronnie did tell her she was in love with someone but never said his name. She was really full on about it. They come to a conclusion that it must be Drew. Libby hands Tess a postcard just as Drew comes home. Tess apologizes about Ronnie but Drew tells her it's not her fault. Tess tells them that she was to go home but doesn't know what to say to Ronnie now. Libby suggests to act normal but to watch her back. Drew doesn't think to seem that's necessary. Libby tells Drew that he shouldn't be getting sympathetic about it. Drew assures Libby that he's quite the opposite, he tells them she came past work earlier the day but doesn't think she'll be coming back as he made it very clear. Tess leaves and Drew tells Libby that she should learn a lesson from this- never go away on holiday again without him. Libby sits back down on the couch and Drew puts his arms around her- she makes it a deal.

Libby and Drew are about to have dinner and she asks what's the special occasion with the wine and all. She asks if she's forgotten something or is he sucking up? Drew tells her neither. He's trying to make her feel secure after all has happened. Libby tells him that it isn't necessary but it's sweet. Though, she a bit worried that she upset Tess. Drew tells Libby not to worry because Tess should know about it. Libby tells Drew that she not angry at Ronnie, everything is just go bizarre she actually feels sorry for her. Drew tells Libby that she must have had a terrible welcome home so suggests that they start again and all this never happened. Libby agrees and they drink to welcoming Libby home.

After dinner, Libby is drying the plates and they are talking about Nigel complaining about the noise they make. Apparently he finds it hard to concentrate on his drumming. Drew tells Libby he's trying to see a good side to all of this. Libby suggests that with the drumming they could go out more. Drew tells Libby that he thinks his rhythm is getting better as well. Someone knocks on the door and Drew says it's probably Nigel now complaining that they are washing their dishes to loudly. Drew opens the door and it's Ronnie. She's peeved and gets straight to the point. She tells him that she wants to speak to Libby, she deserves to know what they mean to each other. Ronnie tells Libby that Drew has told her that he regrets marrying her. Libby walks towards Drew and asks Ronnie when did he say that? Ronnie tells her that he's said it plenty of times- while she was saying at the flat, while she was away. Libby picks up the earring and lipstick and gives it to Ronnie. Ronnie realizes that Libby knows all about it. Libby says she knows how hard she's worked to convince everything that she's been having an affair with her husband, but she doesn't believe her. Ronnie comes to the conclusion that Drew has been lying to her and if Libby believes him then she's dumber than she looks. Drew begins to get angry and tells Ronnie to get out, he begins to push her out the door. Ronnie doesn't leave and Drew tells her that this is a nightmare and he's going to call the police. Ronnie tells Drew not to, she's go, but she's going to tell everyone what he's really like and how he's been treating her.

Libby and Drew are ready to go to bed. Drew suggests that maybe they should move because of Nigel and Ronnie. Libby tells him that they've just unpacked and that they shouldn't be running away from Ronnie. Drew tells Libby that it makes him so mad that she thinks she can just come around, whenever she likes, causing all this grief. Both Libby and Drew gets into bed. Libby tells Drew that she's told him not to feel guilty on her behalf. She also tells him she doesn't think Ronnie is making it up. Drew looks at Libby for a meaning to what he is saying. Libby tells him that she thinks in Ronnie's mind, she did have a torrid affair with him. Drew tells her that he did nothing to lead her on. Libby tells him that she knows, she believes him. Drew tells Libby that he loves her so much that he'll never do anything to risk that. They begin to pash...

The next morning, Ronnie and Tess are at the coffee shop, Ronnie is trying to convince Tess what a rat Drew is. Tess tells her that she doesn't want to get involved. Ronnie tells Tess that she needs to know what Drew is like, but Tess already knows. Ronnie begins to tell Tess what a rat Drew is- he led her on. He said one thing when Libby was away and another now that she's back. Tess tells Ronnie to drop it. Ronnie doesn't and continues to say that the Drew they all know isn't... Tess cuts her off and tells her to drop it once again. She goes to get some coffee. Dione and Toadie comes into the coffee shop and Tess tells them that Ronnie is driving her nuts, she'll tell him about it later.

May 14th- 18th, 2001

Tess is looking for Libby and finally finds her back at the Kennedy's where Libby and Drew are staying due to the storm. Tess tells Libby that Ronnie has disappeared. Libby is pretty surprised by this as Tess tells her that when she came home, she was completely gone. Meanwhile, at the garage Drew is in a bad mood. When Steph comes to visit, Drew is holding his tool ready to knock someone out. Steph asks him what is wrong. Drew tells Steph about a customer coming up talking to him thinking that he cheated on his wife- he almost knocked him out. Drew is annoyed that he was actually civil to Ronnie when she first arrived. Steph assures that the rumours will pass and suggests talking to Toadie for legal advice.

Later at no.30 Libby and Drew are talking to Toadie for suggestions to get rid of Ronnie. Toadie suggests that they can sue her for harassment, but both Libby and Drew agree that's far too extreme. Then Toadie suggests that he can write her a strongly worded letter. Libby thinks that it's a good idea, only if they knew where Ronnie is! Toadie tells them that maybe Ronnie has left for good but Libby thinks otherwise.

Back at the Kennedy's, Libby is feeding Dahl and talking to Drew about Ronnie before leaving for work. Libby tells Drew that something about Ronnie is very familiar. She can't remember if she's seen her name written down or a picture. But every time she thinks about it, she connects it with the newspaper. Libby then tells Drew that she's going to look Ronnie up at the newspaper. Drew tells Libby that Ronnie would come up as weirdo of the month. Meanwhile, as Libby and Drew stand outside the Kennedy's house, a person spies on them. The person watches as Libby kisses Drew good-bye, watches Drew leave and watches Libby go back into the house.

Drew is driving to the garage and realizes that Ronnie is following him. He gets out of the car and is extremely angry. Ronnie is at the garage to give Drew her part payment for the car. She tells Drew that she understands why he is angry. She continues to say that she knows Drew's life security has been threatened by her and maybe it feels easier for him to live with Libby but she claims they are soul mates. Drew tells Ronnie that if she doesn't leave soon he will call the police and if she doesn't stop harassing him and his wife, he will take legal action. Ronnie argues that she gave up everything for him and she can't live without him.

At the newspaper, Libby is having no luck finding Veronica Anderson on the computers. Joe, Luke and Flick comes to see her about an article relating to designing a new stake park. Libby likes the idea and after they leave she continues to search for Ronnie on the computers, with no luck. She takes a break and gets a drink. At that moment she sees a missing poster person of Ronnie put the name says Pamela McAdam (Nee Scott)

Back at the Kennedy's, Drew is telling Susan about how the storm had ruin the flat. Libby bursts through the door with the poster she found. Susan and Drew both see that it's Ronnie but says Pamela. Libby wonders what Ronnie's running away from. That night, Drew is back at the Kennedy's after going to the police. Libby is asking Drew for details about Ronnie's past but he doesn't know anything because he didn't ask. Libby asks why he didn't ask because she would have. Susan tells that that's why she's the journalist and they're not. Libby asks Drew isn't he just a little curious about Ronnie's past, Drew tells her no. Someone knocks on the door and Libby jokes that it's Ronnie. Drew goes to hide behind the bench next to Susan. Libby and Susan both ask what Drew is doing and tells him to get up. Drew tells them to be quiet and to just open the door. Libby opens it and it's Tess. Susan tells Tess that Drew was hiding because he thought she was Ronnie. Tess actually comes to talk to Drew about Ronnie. Ronnie's father rang her and asked if she had a number to contact Ronnie. Tess doesn't and now asks Drew if he does. Drew then remembers that Ronnie gave him her mobile number. He goes to get it for Tess. Libby asks Tess if the father told her anything about Ronnie. Tess tells her no but that her father was extremely worried.

Late that night, Libby and Drew are watching TV when Libby tells Drew that he should call Ronnie and tell her that her father is worried about her. Drew tells Libby no and that the case is closed. Libby then grads Drew's face and starts shaking it. Drew responds by starting to tickle Libby. She complains that tickling doesn't tickle, it hurts. Drew imitates Libby who begins to tickle Drew to prove her point. They are making an extremely loud noise when Susan comes out of the bedroom to tell them to be quiet. Susan joins Libby and Drew, watching TV

Next morning, Libby and Drew are discussing the progression of their flat when someone knocks on the door. Libby goes to open it and it's a man who is asking for Drew. Drew comes to the door and the man introduces him as Gordon, Ronnie's father. He asks if they can talk. Later Drew, Libby and Gordon are sitting at the lounge discussing Ronnie. Libby is extremely surprised when Gordon tells them that Pamela (Ronnie) is actually married. He explains that she and Don were married four months ago. They went rock climbing for their honeymoon. Don got killed on their first day, Pamela saw him fall. They brought her home and was obviously in shock. A few weeks later she just disappeared. Drew still doesn't understand why Ronnie was so attached to him. Gordon suggests that Drew has the same build and hair colour as Don, and maybe sure him as a substitute. Gordon then tells them why he visited. He's asking Drew for help. He wants him to ring Ronnie because the police thinks that if anyone else does she'll just run away again. Drew is sure about this but Libby thinks it's a good idea and proposes an idea.

Drew, Libby and Gordon are at the garage and Gordon thinks Pamela (Ronnie) won't show. Drew tells him that she will although he's not liking the idea much. Gordon tells Drew it's for Pamela's own good. Later at the garage, they hear a car driving up so Libby and Gordon goes to hide. It's Ronnie and she's extremely happy that Drew has called and changed his mind. At that moment Libby and Gordon comes out. Ronnie asks Drew if this is a bad time, she can comes back later. Drew tells Ronnie that this is her father but she denies it. She gets a little frustrated and storms off to her car. Gordon follows her to the car and finds her crying in the driver's seat. He comforts her as Libby and Drew stand by and watch. Eventually Gordon leads Ronnie out of her car, thanks Libby and Drew and they walk away
