God or Gadgets

As a wealthy Texan was being buried in his Cadillac, a mourner was heard to say, “Man that’s living!”  It seems we have substituted an abundance of things for the abundant life, or gadgets, or wash away your sins in a washer, or dry your tears with a hair dryer, or find peace in pleasures.  You need the Lord Jesus.

In your rush to get things that money can buy don’t forget the things that money can’t buy, the forgiveness of sins, a home in Heaven, and God.  The Bible says, “He that hath the son hath life and he that hath not the son hath not life.
