G'day, my name is Michael Anthony Quinn, I am 47 years old, happily married with four children (2 boys and 2 girls).
We currently live in Brisbane, in Queensland, which is the northern most state on the Australian eastern seaboard. I am currently
employed as the Technical Quality Manager at Pearlstreet ETRS.
I've been interested in aviation since an early age
and this lead me to join the Royal Australian Air Force after leaving school. I spent twelve year in the airforce, serving
at 2OCU (Mirage 111's at Williamstown NSW), 3 Sqn (Mirage 111's at Butterworth Malaysia), 5 Sqn (Bell Iroquios at Fairburn
ACT), 2AD (C-130 Hercules, P-3 Orion, Boeing 707 at Richmond NSW)and 75 Sqn (Mirage 111 at Darwin NT). It was during this
time that I started work on my Database, and as the years progessed so did the infomation I acquired. So please have a look
through the Database and please contact me if you have anything to add or any corrections you think may be required.
I was born in Wadworth Yorkshire England, but my parents immergrated to Australia in 1960, and I grew up in Sydney, attending
Artarmon Public School and Hunters Hill High School. Once leaving school I joined the RAAF and travelled to every state in
Australia as well as doing two years in Butterworth Malaysia. After I left the RAAF I lived in Darwin in the Northern Territory
for ten years before moving to Brisbane where I currently reside. I love playing and coaching Basketball as do all my kids.
