History:
Arrived at 30 Sqn on the 27th July 1943, flying 25 missions before departing on 10th May 1944. 19 Mar 49 - 87 Sqn lost
Mosquito A52- 327 but both crew members, F/L Albrecht and F/L Pearson, were remarkably relatively unhurt. The aircraft was
at an air display at Casino, NSW, when, preparing for a second fly past, the starboard engine cut out completely. The pilot
immediately feathered this engine, then began turning towards the aerodrome, when the port engine also cut out completely.
The aircraft crashed landed. The last four Beaufighters with 30 Sqn were flown to Tocumwal on 3rd February 1956 for storage
and eventual disposal. S/L Albrecht flew A8-358.
