CD Rippers

A cd ripper gets audio tracks from cds and turns them into wav files on your hard drive. You need approximately 10.6mb of hard drive space for every minute of sound.

These are probably the best rippers.  Remember, they aren't all full versions.

This uses ASPI for Win32 to communicate with CD-ROMs.  It supports wav, pcm, raw, and mp3 files. It also supports ATAPI, SCSI-2 and SCSI-3 CD devices.  It includes  remote/local CDDB, Windows CD-Player database, database browser, read speed selection, and shuttle control.

A few years ago, the first version of WinDac (in DOS) was one of the first rippers.  This version works CD-ROMs that are connected to IDE or SCSI with the Windows ASPI interface.
