Casting Sighting!
Doug Savant, Eric King on "The Guardian," Matt on "Melrose Place,"
is everywhere these days. He's certainly has had more lines in the last couple of weeks than he ever had on "Melrose."
Matt was a gay character long before it was trendy. We just saw Savant as the head of hotel security on "24"
and last week he was the husband of the rape victim on "NYPD Blue."

New article from PPG !
"The status is really the same,"CBS chairman and CEO Leslie Moonves said in
a teleconference Tuesday. "It's still doing decently. Three years ago there would have been no question about 'The
Guardian' being on our schedule, [since it's] winning in viewers and households. But we're paying more attention
to the 25-54 [demographic] and, dirty word, even the 18-49 [demographic]." To view full article, click on the following Web

Interview with Jennifer Johnson!
No one wants the TV drama "The Guardian" to be renewed for a fourth season more than Jennifer Johnson.
She became one of the show's writers last year and is anxiously awaiting the news as much as any of the series' fans or actors.
"No show is a guarantee. ... Presumably, 'The Guardian' will be renewed," Johnson said. To view full

Simon Baker:New James Bond?
Producers of the James Bond film franchise have decided to terminate their affiliation with actor Pierce
Brosnan in lieu of pursuing a younger. Fellow Aussie star Simon Baker of the television series The Guardian
has been mentioned as a plausible consideration by Film Force, likening his career to that of Roger Moore. To view full

a huge ratings winner in the States which gets its UK TV premiere on The Hallmark Channel this month. Nick Fallin has it all.
Hes a hotshot legal eagle working in his fathers ultra-successful Pittsburgh law firm. Hes got the looks and the ruthless

relationship with his father, he isnt too particular about the ethics he uses to win his cases oh, and hes a snob. Hes also
very much addicted to the high life. Unfortunately, that high life has got the better of Nick. Arrested for drug abuse, hes
been sentenced to 1,500 hours of community service that, somehow, he has to squeeze into his 24/7 world of cut-throat mergers,
acquisitions and board meetings. Reluctantly, Nicks now The Guardian, a part time child advocate at Legal Aid Services, where
one case after another provides an eye-opener into a very different world. Faced with helping helpless kids who have got themselves
into all sorts of trouble often through no fault of their own Nick finds a new purpose in life as he finally applies his awesome
legal skills to cases that really warrant them. From UK Halllmark

Something about Blair Williamson
Although he doesn't get much work, Blair Williamson has a remarkable resume. He has appeared as a guest star on
ER, as the younger brother of Dr. Maggie Doyle . He has also been in the 1995 USA network film, "My
Antonia". Blair was cast as Marek Shmerda, Antonia's brother .
Training is a vital part of Blair's career. While he used to take music therapy, Blair continues to take speech
therapy , as well as acting classes. Most recently, Blair landed the starring role in an independent film, Heartland.
The film is set to be out for the 2002 film festivals. An article about the making of heartland will appear in the August
issue of Sagindie (www.sagindie .com). Since his experience at the filming of the Macy's commercial , Blair has also
taken an interest in directing.
Blair Williamson is only one of the millions of children with disabilities interested in acting. When a child expresses
interest or ability in acting, Ms. Williamson advises parents to nurture this gift by enrolling their child in lessons
. Though their futures may not hold a successful acting career , the disciplinary skills learned in acting classes are transferable
to almost any aspect of life . Such skills include staying focused on the moment, following directions, effective communication,
and observational skills. Of 600 clients of the MAO, only six make a living at acting . As Gail Williamson puts it,
"All 600 performers are pioneers in this industry and every step, even a small one, is a victory for the whole". From disabilitycentral.com
Article from West Australian Newspagers
"I thought I could walk a line with Nick, that I could make the character very internal, where he wasn't likeable
but the audience would still root for him. There was this challenge: I thought I could play this sort of thing where you're
hoping he makes the right choices and you feel for him when he makes the wrong choices." To view full article, click

Simon on E!
Has someone else caught him in E! news?....I think it was an old interview, because
he was wearing that stripped sweater green and red (or green and orange) and a jacket. They were talking about N. Watts and
her boyfriend at Sundance, and while naming him put some seconds of an interview.
Thanks Ceci
Wendy Moniz, who is pregnant in real life, a coincidence that didn't dictate the story. Congrats Wendy &
Frank. Here's wishing the best for Wendy and Frank with their upcoming arrival!

Article from The Australian
Simon Baker has said before that it was this ambiguity that attracted him to the role: "I like the fact that he's
imperfect, which is like everyone ... That's what drew me to it. It didn't seem usual. It seemed like a throwback to a period
where we used to have leading characters who weren't genetically, spiritually perfect. Remember those days? Leading men were
regular guys, someone you could identify with . Steve McQueen was a regular guy. Charles Bronson was a regular
guy. Clint Eastwood's a regular guy." To view full article, click on the following Web address in The Australian.

Season 4 for TG?
With all of its early pick-ups, Moonves says development for fall 2004 will be fairly tight. "To get on the schedule
next season, [a show] is going to have to be damn good." In addition to its three-hour commitment to the " C.S.I."
franchise, " Without a Trace," " J.A.G.," " The District," " Judging
Amy," " The Guardian," " King of Queens," " Yes, Dear," " Still
Standing," " 48 Hours," the two " 60 Minutes" editions and its Sunday movie are all
expected to return, leaving barely four hours on its schedule to fill depending upon how the rest of its current and
midseason schedule fares. To view full article, click on the following Web address thefutoncritic.com.

"It's a bubble show, no question," Moonves said, indicating that " The Guardian" may or may not
return for a fourth season in the fall. Johnson said he's concerned that the show may not get renewed for a fourth
season."I'm certainly not taking it for granted," he said. "I took for granted that we'd have this season, but I think we
have a lot of work to do to make sure we have a season four."To view full article, click on the following Web address Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
