Management Structure
Project Director, President of RMS:
- Directs general planning for the facility/city.
- Directs program development.
- Oversees the efforts of the RMS management supervisors.
Program, Personnel, Operations:
- Provides analysis of facility/city program effectiveness.
- Handles all personnel matters.
- Oversees all advertisements of programs and communications with facility/city.
- Program coordinator.
Facility, Financial Operations:
- Oversees daily operation aspects of the facility.
- Provides fiscal analysis of facility operations.
- Available daily for communications with facility owners.
- Prepares reports and budgetary analysis necessary for facility operations.
Independent Contractors and Employees:
- Communicates daily with the facility manager/supervisor.
- Monitor all programs they are directly involved with and teach.
- See to the needs of the participants in their various programs.
- Maintain necessary records for program and facility maintenance.
- Report all potential problems to management.
This management structure allows RMS to successfully operate the center, its programs and proshop at Fountain Valley, administer city programs and provide services to private associations. "Don Alger" President of RMS, has been involved in the creation of administration and teaching of tennis in Orange County for over thirty years. He has worked closely with the United States Tennis Association and the National Foundation of Wheelchair Tennis, promoting school yard tennis at various sites in Orange County. He is also a member in good standing of the United States Tennis Professional Association. He was asked to write two chapters for the USPTA on how to program and operate a public facility, which is now in publication. He also has coached varsity and junior varsity tennis at the secondary and college levels.
During the last thirty years, Don has also worked closely with various cities throughout Orange County, as both a recreational leader and liaison for information County wide. He can provide experience, financial stability and innovation for yur programs.
RMS has been organized to develop tennis programs for players of all levels. Wheather in tournaments, facilty management or working with municipalities, RMS has provided leadership in the field of Recreational Tennis.
As part of our business philosophy, RMS believes in participation in community affairs. We of RMS feel it is necessary to give back to the community as a business. In line with this philosophy we have contributed to Make A Wish Foundation, sponsored civic concerns through membership in the Chamber of Commerce.
