  Beginning Sailing On The Bay

  Future sailors will be taught the basic knowledge of how to sail, become familiar with terminology and parts of the boat. Lessons are given in 8 ft. sabots and are held on both land and water. Water is provided and a snack is recommended. Each student receives a T-shirt and certificate at the last class meeting.

  Intermediate Sailing and Theories

  Sailors hone their skills in Lido 14's and 8 ft. sabots with their mates. You are tested on your current knowledge and challenged with new experiences. There is beach time for learning more about knots and boat terminology. A book on sailing and certificates will be provided.

  This Class includes water and land time. Students will learn the fundamentals of sailing using Lido 14's. Certificates and T-shirts will be given at the last class meeting.

  Women's "Get-Away Sailing"

  Designed for women interested in the basics of sailing and understanding the terminology of this sport. Classes meet on land and in the water. Certificates are handed out at the last class and a "Let's Go Sailing" book is issued to all participants.

  Mighty Mights Sailing for Winter

  These classes are geared for the younger beginning sailor. Each child must know how to swim and bring a U.S. Coast Guard Approved Life Jacket, (PFD). Certificates and T-shirts will be handed out at the end of their sailing adventure.

  Family Sail

  Basic fundamentals are taught for the family who wants to become familiar with this great water sport. Family members must be 5 years and older to participate. Certificates and T-shirts will be given at the last class meeting. Fun homework assignments are given out at the end of some classes. Up to 5 family members per boat, some restrictions apply.

  A $15 discount is given to 3 or more family members registering at the same time.
