Netherland Dwarfs

What can you say about a Netherland Dwarf, they're cute, they're cuddly, and they're just completely irresistable! I have actually wanted Netherland Dwarfs for quite some time but after having a bad experience with a buck that I purchased in the fall in 2000 I was turned off of the breed for quite some time. It took 3 long years and a very close friend to get me back into them. For that I thank Allie Dean. Frequent visits to her house after shows and visits just for fun resulted in close contact with her Netherlands and I was slowly getting hooked on the little guys once again. It started with a Tort buck that I brought home from Allie's just as a pet. Well like most things, it starts there.. but never ends there!! I had not at that point decided to actually start up the breed again until I went to the next show and found myself "doe shopping"! And as always, one thing leads to another. So at long last the Netherlands are back in my barn and I think this time they're staying put!
