Don't fret We care

A major function of the Shepherd Lions is to assist in providing glasses for children in the Shepherd School District who could not otherwise afford to get them
The Shepherd Lions also assist adults living in the Shepherd School District to obtain glasses.

OK if you don't live in Shepherd

The Lions can still help

People living outside the Shepherd School District can get help from the Lions Club closest to them.

Just call

Chuck Jaquith

517-828-6582

He can let you know what Lions Club is serving you.

How do we do it?

We do it through a Bingo tent during the Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival

We do it by selling White Cane pins on the street in May

We do it by selling nuts in the fall

We have a limited budget so we ask individuals to pay as much of the cost as they can.

By allowing people to retain a sense of self respect, we believe people will take better care of their glasses if they are allowed to help pay for them.

To apply for help with glasses, please feel free to call
