She married Jack Adair Sloane on January 11, 1963 in Dallas, Texas and is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She was sealed to her husband for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on April 29, 1977. Linda is a devoted wife and mother and above all a follower of Jesus Christ. She graduated from University of Texas in Austin in 1960 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and was a runner up in the Miss Austin competition. Linda worked in retail sales as a personal shopper for 18 years and was proud to call Neiman Marcus her occupational “Home” for more than a decade. She is a past resident of Dallas & Decatur, Texas, Coeur d'Alene, ID, Evergreen, Colorado, Orem, Utah and Jerusalem, Israel-where she lived with her family for several years in the late 70’s while supporting her husband in his education efforts. Her favorite saying is “Cute Counts” and she made it count all her days with crafts, her wardrobe and impressing all who know her by decorating even canes and walkers with her wares. She has an incredible gift for being positive and making those around her feel lifted up, encouraged and supported. A favorite saying is than she had never “had an all bad day”.  Her most favorite things are ladybugs, blue-sky days, Snuffers cheese fries and Mexican food as well as spending time with her family-also dubbed “The Pack”. Her positive presence will be greatly missed but we know we will see her again & that we will feel her close!  Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband and an infant son Stephen Sloane. She is survived by daughter Shari Guess and husband Walter of Rhome, son Spencer Sloane and wife Connie of Dallas, Scott Sloane and wife Karen of Coeur d'Alene, ID, 8 grandchildren: Kaci, Sheldon, McKaylee, Garrett, Avery, Liam, Lily, Sydney, Ethan, Billy, Isabel & Liam, 8 Bonus Grandchildren, 3 Great- Grandchildren: Paislee, Huxlee & Elaya, 6 Bonus Great-Grandchildren and her beloved “Lil’ Dog” Goliath.
