Random Thoughts...

Sometimes life has to be random.

You know, it's weird how life works out sometimes...one day, 10 million people hate your guts and you only have one true friend.  The next day those 10 million people all love you to death, but you may or may not be having problems with that one, used to be, true friend.

That's when life is the pits.  When that one truely important person in you life decides they hate you.  Decides you aren't worth their time any more.  What are you supposed to do?

To you, it doesn't matter how many people call you their best friend - when that one special person turns against you, nothing else matters.  And when you don't even know why?  All you want to do is cry.  And there's nothing you can do to make them come back.

Until one day, they do come back.  Then what?  Are you supposed to just pick up the pieces, pretend like nothing ever happened, and things are going great as usual?  Or are you supposed to talk to them about it.  Be mad at them.  Make things worse.  Yell at them for drop kicking you like you never even mattered.  How are you supposed to handle it?

Life doesn't come with instruction booklets, telling you how to handle this, how to react to that piece of crap life just handed you.  You have to either just know, or play it by ear, and learn from your many mistakes.

Mistakes are interesting.  It sucks so bad when you make them, but later, if you're smart, you learn not to repeat them.  So in the end, they're actually a really good thing.

But don't tell that to a person who just her lost her voice in the middle of her big solo in some famous broadway play because she yelled too much the night before while cheering for her baby brother who was the starting quarterback in the state championship high school football game...and don't tell that to the teenager who just broke up with the love of his life for all the wrong reasons, but now realizes that he was stupid, and she won't have him back.

Mistakes can be hard.  Can even be heartbreaking.  But somewhere along the line, things have to take a turn for the better, and everything just falls in line.  And you just have to pick up the pieces and live again.

It always gets better again.  They don't always come back, but the ones really worth it do.  And that's when you know life is worth living again.

All psychological and junk...
