| Starting to make the Fence (Parting lines) on the top |

| Adding some Evercoat 400 to the fence for a perfect fit to the top |

| Adding side rear deck fences to the top section |

| Final section of the top fence has been added |

| Finished top fence (Mold Parting line) |

| Here you can see the Modeling clay I used to support the first sections of the Fence. |
Many have asked about waxing..........
Before each section of the mold is fabricated, I wax and polish
that section at least three times. Then I spray with a release film. For mold making I use a "rattle can" Silicon release
agent as I don't have to worry about painting these. ( I never use Silicon in a mold for the finished parts, if they
are to be painted)
Next I will build a "Box" to support the top
mold and all the rest of the sections that will be bolted to it to make the Corvette Body. Then I will make the actual mold.

| Here is the "BOX" with the parting Boards all finished. Now to start the mold! |

| Two layers of "Surface coat" |

| A mixture of Filler and Epoxy is added to prevent air pockets in the corners. |

| Three layers of 6 OZ glass cloth and Laminating Epoxy Resin |

| THree layers of 9 OZ cloth and the Supporting "Box" |

| Quarter Panel /Door section Parting boards are added next |

| Once again it's time for the "Surface Coat" |

| Quarter Panel Section |

| "Da Udder" side with all the glass added |

| Removing the Parting fences for the rear panel |

| Rear fences removed and ready to make the rear tail light panel |

| Getting ready to add the Hood Surround Parting fences |

| One more part of the fence to go. Note the area under the Wheel opening will have to be filled also |

| Ready to make the Hood Surround Panel |

| Same drill, Two coats of Surface coat. |

| Four layers of 9 OZ cloth and four layers of 12 OZ under the wood support frame |

| Fences have been removed, Next I will make the vertical fence separating the fenders from the grille |

| Front fender and grille fences in place. |

| Once again, Two coats of surface coatwith 45 minute between coats |

| Fenders all layed up with 8 layers of cloth and epoxy |

| Just have to make the Grille and Tail light panel and the mold will be done! |

| Both front and rear panels are finished |
After trimming and drilling the flanges, I will take
the molds off of the pattern. Starting with the top.

| Top section of the mold removed |

| Taillight panel popped right off, using a clamp to pull it loose. |

| After all the sections have been removed, I twilkl be "Bolted" back together to make the first Body. |

| All put back together for a trial fit. The "white" spots are imperfections that are being repaired |
Now I
am starting to build the floor pan for the interior to mount to.

| Starting on the floor pan for the Vette |

| A prototype body trial fitted to the floor pan pattern |

| Another view |

| Thru the "driver's" door |

| Adding "Fillets" to all the corners of the floor pattern |

| Making the Dash panel pattern |

| Da udder side of the dash |

| Windshield &back glass cut out |

| Final shape for rear wheel well clearance |

| Floor pattern primed ready to have the edges added for the mold |

| Frame & "Engine" |

| This is what it looked like at the Weak Signals RC show at TOLEDO in April 2004 |
