|
| From the rear sans the engine, bummer! |
Aileron Low rate = 1" up & .75" down Mid rate = 1.5" up &
1.25 down High rate = 1.74" up &1.75" down Elevator Low rate = .75" up & down Mid rate = 1.5" up &
down High rate = 2" up & down
Rudder is irrelevant as I added 2" to the total length of it,
but on high rate it is 45 degrees off center. About 1" off center for low rate, tho

|
| Underneath the Hornier antistall wing tip ala A-10 & Cessna! |

I test flew it at our club field the Saturday of Heart of Ohio. Flew great but
the engine seized up on the first flight, BUMMER!! Kept me away from Ohio, double BUMMER!!!!
Got a whole week to get it done!!!!!
I finished it at 2:00pm Saturday 8-23-03
Did the second flight after getting the
engine fixed. All systems worked quite well. Roll on high rate is great. Needs a bit of down elevator in knife edge, but this
is NOT a pattern ship. It is really rock solid in the air and I think my CG setting of 4.5 inches back on the leading edge
is right on.
Went for the third flight and the starter motor died. ARRGH!
Flew fine at Superman, 'til the engine lost some turbine blades
Double ARRGH!!!
Mucho Dinero later, Carlos has it running GREAT now!
