Chiriqui Province - Constructed two 3-room schools (in Las
Lajas and Quebrada Hacha), two 2-room schools (in Quebrada
Guabo and Cerro Iglesia), two 2-room clinics (in Quebrada
Hacha and Hato Juli) and conducted medical-dental
screening activities.
Total estimated cost for
construction of the schools is $280,000, and the medical
clinics is $180,000. Each MEDRETE cost about $40,000.
These costs did not include associated costs such as
standard operating costs and the cost of transporting
personnel and equipment. Including these costs, the total
cost of the NH03 exercise in Panama was approximately $14
million
