Forest Heights Middle School is committed to gifted and talented education. Our teachers have been trained in ways
to differentiate lessons for gifted learners.
Our gifted and talented students are served through the Pre Advance Placement classes offered at each grade level. Students who are identified as gifted and talented need to enroll in a minimum of one PreAP each year.
Parents of PreAP students who fall under Section 504 in the Americans with Disabilities Act need to understand that a different
modification plan is used to service the needs of the students.
FHMS yearly participates in local Quiz Bowl, Destination Imgaination, Geography Bee, Spelling Bee, and Science Fair competitons.
