The Child Nutrition Department operates the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs, nutrition
education program, "Nifty Nutrition," and the four-year-old and CARE snack programs for the students. Centralized department
functions include budgeting and staffing. Nutritious meals are prepared in school kitchens and served in the cafeterias. Rigorous
USDA guidelines are followed to ensure nutrition integrity and program compliance.
To
ensure that your child, if eligible, receives a free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch during the school year, you must
have a free or reduced-price lunch application on file.
The application can be picked up in the main office and returned to Mr. Wise.
