Mr. Wise is a doctoral student in Educational Leadership at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  He also holds a BA and a MSE from UALR.  Mr. Wise is a fully certified teacher, program coordinator, and administrator.  He has endorsements in Advanced Placement Human Geography and Pre-AP Social Studies.
 
Mr. Wise, serves as one of three assistant principals to Ms. Elouise Dodson.  He is the In-school Suspension Coordinator, Gifted and Talented Coordinator, and Free/Reduced Lunch administrator.
 
"Forest Heights is one of only a few schools in Little Rock that does not require students to wear uniforms.  In exchange we ask students not to wear a few items:
                *Revealing or inappropriate clothing
                *Flip flops or shower shoes
A copy the LRSD dress code policy is included in the student's handbook.

Parents please be aware of the following Arkansas law.  We will be enforcing the following at FHMS:

   6-17-106. Insult or abuse of teacher.

(a)(1)  It is unlawful during regular school hours and in a place where a public school employee is required to be in the course of his or her duties, for any person to address a public school employee using language which in its common acceptation is calculated to: 

(A)  Cause a breach of the peace; 

(B)  Materially and substantially interfere with the operation of the school; or 

(C)  Arouse the person to whom it is addressed to anger to the extent likely to cause imminent retaliation. 

(2)  A person who violates this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction be liable for a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500). 

(b)  Each school district shall report to the Department of Education any prosecutions within the school districts under this section.
