Erlic Eastlore as known to his friends is 5'11" tall, has brown hair, brown eyes and a beard. His earliest recollections are based upon what was told to him by the monks of the orient. His family & himself had been sold to the slavers. His parents (names unknown) did whatever work was necessary until they were killed by a hostile tribe. Erlic's life was spared. He was kept by a missionary who returned him to his home in the Orient in the province of Sho'Lin. The only name in his memory is that of Kwan-Yee whom he referred to as Master. Kwan-Yee taught the boy the teachings and philosophy of his school of thought. Along with certain religious beliefs, Erlic was also taught the ways of oriental fighting. The fighting techniques were those of an old mythical fighting group known in the minds of many as the Ninja. The ninja were taught in the art of assassination, silent movement and other tactics. Erlic was taught these methods as a precautionary measure. What he did with his life was a different story. When Erlic reached the age of 14 Kwan-Yee died of old age and Erlic went about burying him in the traditional eastern methods. After two months of preparing himself for a long jorney, he left the estate of his master and ventured into the world.
He booked passage on a ship for parts unknown doing menial tasks on board to pay his way. It was here that he met different people (mostly thieves) who showed interest in the boy and instructed him in their craft. Because of his past upbringing, Erlic caught on very quickly to the delight of the thieves and forged a lasting friendship with them.
Eventually he met a group of adventurers calling themselves "The Shardrows" and his purpose in life then began. Click here for Erlic's picture.
