Did you ever wonder what your friends
you find on line are like?
Did you ever wonder if truth is there
or if they were just tykes?
This world is sadly lacking
in honesty sincere
Why do people feel the need
to hide, is it from fear?
I am who I am, and no apologies make
you either like me or hate me
but there's one thing I'll never take.
I hate being lied to
above anything else.
So if you come chat to me,
just be YOURSELF!
I make no judgements
(thats God's department, you see)
and I will accept you
for who you will be.
Though there are things I hate
and times we'll disagree..
I'll be honest with you,
will you be honest with me???

So often we take for granted
The ones who hold us dear
What exactly does it mean
"What are friends for?"
Friends are forgiving
Friends are patient and kind
They dont judge you
By what's NOT on your mind
Friends are understanding
When you have things on you mind
And can't pay attention
Like you do the rest of the time
Friends are good listeners
When things need discussed
They don't tell you
It's not their business
Friends are there
When you need a hand
In good times and bad times
They understand
Friends don't judge
By color, size or race
By religion, height
Or your supposed "place"
True friends look beyond
What is normally seen
And see what's inside
The truth of "this is me"
Friends don't compare
what should and shouldn't be
They understand and help you
Be the best you can be
True friends are a rarity
So few can be found
That when you find one
It's usually when your shoulders
Are are weighed down.
So hold fast to those
Who call you friend
And they will be with you
Through to the end.
