So, you like to blow up anyone in the area, eh? No regards for the innocent bystanders, eh? Oh sure, no one's totally innocent, but that doesn't mean they have to die. I think me and the Detective here might have to escort you down to the station. I don't advise trying to escape, the last guy that tried ended up falling down the steps...

Wanted Criminals

Thes rules apply to most, but not all games. Any player may find themself a wanted criminal if they perform a crime, an example list of which is shown below. A criminal is a target for ALL other players, with a number of extra points, or bounty, being given to the player who kills him in addition to the normal points.

CRIME BOUNTY
Becoming a wanted criminal (first time any of
                               the below happens) - +3
Killing a player who was not your target and not
attacking or threatening with a weapon - +1
Killing an innocent indirectly (eg. bomb) - +1
Killing an innocent directly (eg. gun or knife) - +2
Killing an innocent by sending them into a
 potentially dangerous situation (eg. suspected
                                     letter-bomb) - +3
Killing a Police Officer who was not your taget,
                 attacking or displaying a weapon - +4
Killing an innocent by sending them into
known dangerous situation (eg. getting them to
set off a bomb for you) - +5

You are judged responsible for the death of any inocent bystander who is killed by your poison, bomb, gas, etc. if you took no care to protect them. Obviously if someone else takes your bomb and puts it in their flat-mates bed it's not your fault when it goes off (unless it would have killed them anyway). You are also held responsible for the deaths of anyone who you get to impersonate you, even if you aren't the one that kills them.

Police

In a game in which wanted criminals are to exist, dead players may join the Police Force, headed by the Chief of Police. The purpose of the Police Force is soley to track down and kill wanted criminals - they do not get involved in other aspects of the game. A member of the police force may only kill wanted criminals and those acting in a threatening manner. Police are even more opposed to killing innocent bystanders and as such do not use bombs, poison or any simmilar devices. The Police have excelent medical facilities and can revive any player who dies in about 12-24hours, unfortunately they do not yet have the technology to bring someone back from the dead a second time. This does not apply to the Chief of Police who is an anthropomorfic representation of the spirit of justice and as such comes back within a day of his demise.
