Since building the previous pages my oldest Granddaughter has come back to West Virginia to live with her Grandfather and me. We really love her and are glad to have her with us ...but it is a real shock and a challange to deal with a teen-age girl once again!
For instance my car radio; which I ALWAYS have tuned to the rock oldies station gets changed to alternative when she is riding in the car with me........some of this stuff is really quite good, but a lot of it hurts my ears.
The phone; which was mostly here strictly for my convience before..is now ALWAYS either ringing or busy! Luckily I have my seperate phone line for the computer......speaking of which, she has her own computer and now I have to share my internet connection time.
I'm learning a new language! All the new slang; to which I was not privy before, is now a part of my vocabulary. LOL..... I find myself wanting to call my husband of going on 28 years "dude"
She wanted a pet of her own so we said OK and now we have a kitten ....said kitten is now a valued member of the household and is getting along very well with the two poodles...well one of them anyway. Purr-vert (yes this is our cat's name...we call him Purv for short) and Rocky are fast friends and roll around on the floor and chase each other through the house in some great games! Also I have become VERY attached to him and he to me and he is now very clearly MY cat.
Below is a photo of our very beautiful Granddaughter..Tasha. We are indeed blessed with this addition to our previously small family!
