Teri Ann (Reinhart) Pipes, 36, died April 18, 1989.
Born in Akron, Mrs. Pipes had been a life resident of the area and also of
Peninsula. She was a graduate of Woodridge High School, a member of St.
Marthas Church, and was office manager for Dr. Ram Bandi.
She is survived by husband, Jeff; mother, Charlotte Reinhart of Peninsula;
father, Ralph Reinhart Jr. of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters, Jodi Padrutt of
Peninsula, Lori Mercer of Indiana; and brother, David Reinhart of Peninsula.

Brenda J. Rector, 36, passed away April 21, 1991, in Landover, Md., after a
long illness.
Born in Detroit, Mich., she grew up in Northampton Twp., Ohio, and
graduated in 1973 from Woodridge High School.
Surviving are her parents, William and Edna Rector; brothers, Bill and Tim;
sisters, Barbara and Nancy.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, April 29 at North Haven
Covenant Church, Cuyahoga Falls. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers,
memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

DENVER, Colo. -- Mark F. O'Shell, 37, died Feb. 19 in Colorado as the
result of a automobile accident.
Mr. O'Shell was born in Akron and resided in Denver since 1981, moving
there from Cuyahoga Falls. He was a Woodridge High School graduate in 1972 and
was an attorney with the Baker & Hostetler law firm in Denver.
He is survived by wife, Joanne; mother and father, Anne and Fred of
Cuyahoga Falls; brother and sister-in-law, David and Lori of Akron; sister,
Cheryl of Fort Collins, Colo.; grandmother, Anna Revay of Cuyahoga Falls;
nephew, Brian Mark of Akron; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Anna and Bob
Turner of Cuyahoga Falls; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Matthew J. Leising, 24, of Stow, died Wednesday, July 24, 1991.
A native of Akron and a former resident of Cuyahoga Falls, Matthew was a graduate of the 1985 Class at Woodridge High School and had attended Kent
State University. He had served four years in the U.S. Air Force, had been stationed in Okinawa, and had achieved the rank of sergeant. He was currently
employed at Sea World.
His survivors include parents, Robert F. and Mary Lou of Cuyahoga Falls;
sisters and brother-in-law, Paula Thrasher, Martha and Bob Peyak, and Carolyn,
all of Cuyahoga Falls, Laura of Arcata, Calif., and Regina of Cuyahoga Falls;
brothers and sister-in-law, Thomas of Baltimore, Md., Daniel and Molly of Cuyahoga Falls; nephews, Sean and Kyle Thrasher, and Daniel Leising, as well
as aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services were to be held toDAY, in Bethesda, Md., for former Cuyahoga
Falls resident Daniel Dotson, a shorthand reporter for the U.S. House of
Representatives who took the transcript of the Iran-Contra hearings.
Mr. Dotson, 43, died SaturDAY, of cancer in Silver Springs, Md.
Born in Fayetteville, N.C., he was raised in Cuyahoga Falls and was a 1964
graduate of Woodridge High School. He had attended Hammel Actual
Business
College in Akron, where he learned shorthand reporting.
Mr. Dotson left the Falls area in 1966 to work in the court system in
Washington, D.C. He had also worked as a court reporter in the federal
courts in Columbus.
Since 1985, he had been a shorthand reporter for the U.S. House of
Representatives, working for various house committees. He was the primary
shorthand reporter for the House Ethics Committee hearings on Speaker Jim
Wright.
Mr. Dotson had received certificates of excellence from the National
Shorthand Reporters Association and the Maryland Shorthand Reporters
Association.
He leaves daughter, Erika Dotson, and son, Daniel E. Dotson, both of Silver
Springs; parents, Robert and Loretta Hysell of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters,
Sharon Darnell of Hillsboro, Mo., Deborah Krall of Stow, and Kandi Welsh, of
Cuyahoga Falls; and brothers, Robert Dotson and Richard Dotson, both of
Cuyahoga Falls. Memorials may be made to the Unitarian Church of

Mark Louis Cassidy, 37, beloved son of Louis "Hook" Cassidy, passed away Tuesday, July
7.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian, and is survived by his two daughters,
Mandy and Melissa; and grandson, Christian. Mark will be sadly missed by his sisters, Patty
(Matt) Crim, Diane (Bud) Decker, Theresa Cassidy; and friend, Mike. He also leaves behind
many nieces and nephews who were more like brothers and sisters to him, and little
cousin, Nathan, who said he was "Marky's Boy". Mark had such a big heart, and all who
knew him loved him. He will always be remembered in our thoughts and our hearts forever.
Service will be Saturday, July 11, 1998, at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Romito, a Golden Rule
Funeral Home, 19 E. Main St., Hudson, where friends will be received Friday, 2 to 4 and 7 to

Kevin K. Grether, 31, died suddenly Feb. 1, 1996.
He was a 1982 graduate of Woodridge High School.
He is survived by son, Kevin; daughter, Denise; father, Kenneth Grether;
mother, Winnie Sloat; other immediate family, Brigitte, Brenda, Belinda,
Brandon; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents that love him.

Arlene L. Wood, 56, died March 18, 1996.
She was born in Barberton, where she attended Barberton High School, and
raised her family in Northampton Township. She worked for Woodridge Local
Schools for a number of years, and was employed at Bank One as a financial
services representative for 14 years.
Arlene was the daughter of the late Alda Glenn and Marguerite Kelly Riley of
Barberton. Preceded in death by brothers, Glenn Alton and Marvin L. Riley,
and granddaughter, Karianne Bailey, she is survived by daughters, Linda
(Randy) Bailey of Brimfield, Terri Postlethwait of Arizona; sons, Rick
(Dawn) Wood of New Hampshire, Randy (Marie) Wood of Kent, and Kelly (Lisa)
Wood of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters, Shirley (Bob) Archer of Arizona, Wanda
Wiley of Oregon; sister-in-law, Norma Riley of Arizona; brother, James
(Lynn) Riley of Wadsworth; stepbrother, Ben (Betty) Scherer of Florida;
grandchildren, Randy, Jennifer, Michael, Donald, and Daniel Bailey, and
Audrey Wood.
Friends may call at the McGowan-Reid & Santos Funeral Home, at Third Street
one block north of Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
