Hi! I'm Pudgie. I'm a green,
blue & yellow budgie Parakeet. I know, I
know, "Pudgie the Budgie". No jokes
about my name please! Actually, having a silly
name kind of fits me, since I am a silly bird. I
like to do funny things to keep everybody
laughing. I'm a great acrobat. I can swing around
my bar and not get dizzy. I can hang upside down
with one leg. I can even sing while I'm hanging
upside down! Really!
Speaking of singing, I have
managed to copy every bird I hear outside. I can
copy the way people whistle too. I don't really
care to talk, because who needs talking when you
can sing anything. I like to listen to music,
especially when Juliannah's hubby plays the
guitar. I can dance and sing along. I like rock
& roll and pop music. But I can appreciate
opera, classical and even rap sometimes.
I came to this family on
Father's Day. Juliannah gave me to her hubby Les
as a gift. I came from a pet store where I lived
with a whole bunch of other parakeets and other
kinds of birds. At first I didn't like being
alone, but now I don't mind because I get all the
attention!
Sometimes I make a big mess
on the floor with seeds, but what can I say. I'm
a bird. All in all, life is good here. I'm
learning how to sit on fingers and not bite. At
first I was just scared. Now I know that people
aren't going to hurt me, so I don't bite
anymore(except when the try to take me out and I
really don't want to). Oh well, I have to have my
private time too.
