Hello, my name is Olive and it is my pleasure to welcome you to my page. At first I wasn't sure I wanted hundreds, maybe millions of people looking at me and reading about my personal life, but alas, Juliannah convinced me that it wouldn't be so bad. I must admit, I think I am going to enjoy this.

I actually belong to Marcie, Juliannah's daughter. I came to live with her when I was just a wee kitten. I am 4 years old and I am of the Tortise-shell lineage. I have long,fine hair, unlike my daughter Angel, and my granddaughter Angelina, who have short hair. Marcie named me "Olive" because of my green eyes. I feel it's a very sophisticated name.

I tend to be a loner. Some may think I am a little strange, but I just like to do things on my own. I used to mainly stay in Marcie's room. I liked the peace and solitude. Marcie recently joined the Army. I had to move out of our room and into the main part of the house. At first I was sad and confused. I just didn't understand what was happening, but Juliannah has helped me cope with my loneliness. I know Marcie will be back and everybody else misses her as much as I do.

I have been finding new pastimes, like laying in the sun and smelling the flowers. I am even trying real hard to get along with Angie, my granddaughter. She's young and lively, and I prefer to sit quietly, but we seem to be coming to a mutual understanding of each other. I also miss my daughter Angel. I hope that she will return someday soon.

Well, I guess Juliannah was right. This wasn't too bad. You may visit my photo album if you like and sign the guestbook. Juliannah has been trying to talk me into a cyberpet page. Who knows? Maybe....

*update* My daughter Angel returned on September 27, 1999 after being gone for 4 months. I am so pleased!
