Note: The webmaster's memory is fading fast! However, I do remember a time in early 1971, when there was a rocket/mortar attack on the 90th Replacement Detatchment, Long Binh. Rumor had it that a SP6 from the 93rd was killed in this attack. He was out-processing to return to the states. My "memory" says that he "kept his head shaven", but the his name has escaped me. Contact with David Ramsey, has narrowed this down to SP5 Brook (pictured front row, extreme left, above), but Dave thinks he survived. Dave also states that Brook was assigned there, not out-processing. The online "Wall" does not contain anyone with the last name of "Brook" that fits the man I remember. Dave says the attack happened March 5, 1971, because he was there, and assisted with the casualties. Also, that it was reported in the New York Times, on March 6. 1971.

Does anyone else remember this?

Note: The 93rd Evac did have casualties but it is unclear as to who or when.
Casualties are mentioned at this web site.
