In 2007, the Heights-Hillcrest-Lyndhurst Branch donated 60 copies of The New Little Book, a study guide they wrote and published to help Ohio students prepare for the OGT Social Studies Test. Members and friends of the branch also volunteered as tutors in various subjects. |

 | Case Western Reserve University 
When The Saturday Tutoring Program began to grow in the late 1990's, Case Western Reserve University students were among the first community volunteers to participate, and they continue to be our largest source of tutors. In 2005, CWRU's Center for Community Partnerships helped us to arrange tours of the university campus and computer lab so that our students could get a taste of college life. In 2008, the Saturday Tutoring Program was one of ten campus affiliates selected by the Center for Community Partnerships to receive Community Outreach Grants to continue their work. |

The Saturday Tutoring Program is an outreach program of The Church of the Covenant. For more than two decades, the congregation has provided leadership, volunteers, space, and in-kind services. Financial support for operating expenses comes from the church's local mission budget and from the Covenant Women's Association Fund.

Representatives of The Saturday Tutoring Program participated in Project Access, a nine-month training program designed to strenghten faith-based community organizations. in 2009, a Project Access grant was used to purchase equipment to produce tutor recruitment and training videos and to hold videoconferences with other exemplary tutoring programs. |

Linda Wilson received this store's 2001 Teacher of the Year award for the consistent, extra effort that she put into helping students at John Hay High School and in The Saturday Tutoring Program. Funds were used to purchase supplies for The Saturday Tutoring Program. |

 | Cleveland Reads
Cleveland Reads creates programs and services to improve literacy that can be replicated throughout Northeast Ohio. The organization's history dates back to 1987, when community leaders formed a coalition to coordinate and strengthen local literacy efforts. The Saturday Tutoring Program met some of its first community partners at a citywide tutoring conference organized by Cleveland Reads in 1999. Cleveland Reads recruits, trains, and refers volunteers to various sites in Greater Cleveland, including The Saturday Tutoring Program.

JCU's Center for Service and Social Action has chosen The Saturday Tutoring Program as one of its community partners. Individual JCU students, a variety of athletic teams, and service learners are sharing their time and talents as tutors.

Judson's annual Smart Living Awards recognize individuals who are "dedicated to the dynamic atmosphere of University Circle." In 2006, Linda Wilson and Louise Steele received an education award for their work as co-coordinators of The Saturday Tutoring Program. They were interviewed by Fred Griffith on WKYC-TV's "Good Company" and all winners were pictured in a full-page ad in The Plain Dealer. |

 | The Junior League of Cleveland
In 2009, The Saturday Tutoring Program was chosen as one of the Junior League's Immediate Impact Projects. The group committed volunteers to tutor students, to improve our publicity and marketing efforts, and to build contacts for recruiting tutors. In 2010, their Sustainer Council provided a literacy grant to add Caldecott Medal books and math workbooks to our supply collection. In addition, 20 dictionary/thesaurus sets were purchased as gifts for students whose writing improved. |

Located in Cleveland's Fairfax neighborhood, Olivet is a nationally-recognized, historic church whose members are active in a variety of outreach efforts. Olivet members volunteer in The Saturday Tutoring Program.

 | Presbytery of the Western Reserve
The Saturday Tutoring Program was selected as one of the Presbytery's annual Mission Partners several times. Grants were used for field trips to Holden Arboretum (2005), Rockefeller Park Greenhouse (2006), and the main Cleveland Public Library (2007). These grants were also used to purchase test preparation materials for the tenth-grade Ohio Graduation Test and the SAT, and to update our collection of young adult literature and textbooks. |
