Kids are restless all around the house.....

Having left Santa a cookie and some milk....

They jumped into beds that had sheets made of silk.............

The thought of of new toys now racing thru their heads...

It was all they could do just to stay in their beds....

Pa was in his sweats.... and I was in my gown...

Trying to get a much needed rest, and finally settling down

Of Course Santa, he added to the stress...

He seemed to have forgotten what he does best.............

As we seemed to be missing some toy parts.....

Frantaically working to wrap and make things work...

OH, just to close my eyes a second.....

When out in the living room there came such a clatter.....

We sprang to our feet... knowing what was the matter.....

There sat the dog..... undoing our wrap..... ~sigh~

I looked at Pa, as he gave his knee a slap.....

Again I looked at pa, and he looked at me......

Rolling our eyes..... scurring around picking up the mess...

Putting the dog where he would cause us no more stress....

Taping and Re-Wrapping.... Saving the day.....

I winked at pa, and he to me......

Tip-toeing quietly back for our nap....

Pa gave me a pinch.. and I gave him a slap.....

Lying heads down again hoping for a short nap.....

Now we're hearing yet another sound....

I nudged pa... and he nudged me....

Which one of us is it gonna be?

Rolling out of bed, I knew it would be me.......

Stumbling to the living room ... Stopping in my tracks..

Saw some sparkling dust from the corner of my eye...Giving me shivers

Up my back.....

Listening carefully and tip-toeing quetly now....

I yelled out "Holy Cow!"

The tree was shinning like never before.....

I even noticed the stockings were full to the floor

I yelled for pa... and ran for the door......

We woke the children......Their eyes sparkling...

Like fresh fallen snow.......

Ma and Pa now looking at the kids....

The story is over kids....Time for bed...

As they walked towards their rooms.....

They heard us exclaim..... Merry Christmas My Darlings.....

Now go get some rest.....
