As you can see these pages are dedicated to my Appaloosa horses past & present. I have had horses all my life & finally decided on my first Appaloosa mare many years ago. That decision started the realization of a childhood dream, having my own farm & raising a few foals of my own. That dream started to come to pass over the years as I bred my mare & her daughter. As the years passed I started to see that dream take fruit, but in 1999 my life changed forever & now I am starting over.

      With me in my new life is Wisky, Ti & Tess, you can see them on their own pages that I have created for them.

      The Appaloosa is the noble breed of the Nez Perce Indians, brought almost to the brink of extinction by the U.S. Army. There are many pages on the web that tell about their history & the people who dedicated their lives to bringing back that breed. Many years have passed to bring the Appaloosa to what it is today & those of us that make the Appaloosa our own know them for the intelligent noble animal that they are. If you have an Appaloosa you know for a fact that you train them by “asking”, not by bullying them into doing it. Why..... because it won’t work, these animals are smarter than most give them credit for.

      Living here in rural Pennsylvania we don't have a great number of Appaloosas. But we do have great places to ride the woods trails.
